Apply NowWelcome to the Department of English and Modern Languages. Our department has been one of the strongest departments of SIBA Campus since its inception. We as a department focus on planning, developing and delivering innovative English Language programs to students at undergraduate, higher diploma and diploma levels. Apart from English courses the department also offers diploma courses in French, Chinese Hindi, Japanese and Tamil fulfilling the language requirements of the society. English is offered as a major subject in the General Degree program. Additionally, the department offers an Intensive English program to all new undergraduates and English for academic purposes (EAP) across all degree programs. Thus, the department shoulders the task of making the undergraduates employable by enhancing their communication skills. Courses are designed in such a way that all learners get an authenticated language learning experience under the supervision of expert academics.
