Welcome to the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies. The Department functions as one of the dynamic academic units committed to providing the academic leadership in Pali and Buddhist Studies. Our goal is to contribute to the field of Pali and Buddhist Studies while producing excellent Buddhist leaders and multitalented bachelors who are highly knowledgeable in Buddhist Teaching, Pali Language, fluent in communication skills in modern languages and IT, and knowledge of the modern comparative religions and to develop internal disciplines of learners by bringing out cultural and ethical values found in Buddhist teachings, giving a philosophical and intellectual understanding of humans, society, environment and the universe.
